Robert J. McCaul, 81, of Drums, passed away from natural causes Friday afternoon, Sept. 3, 2021, at his residence with his loving wife by his side.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Constance (McCaul) Marks and his stepfather, the late Harold Marks Sr.
Robert was owner and operator of R. McCaul Trucking.
He was a Navy veteran from 1957-1961, where he acquired the rank of seaman and served as a boatswain's mate.
He was a member of Minersville Fish and Game trapshooting team, Amateur Trapshooting Association and US Conservative Veterans.
He was an avid reader and in his earlier years, loved to hunt with family and friends.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a brother, Harold Marks Jr.
Surviving are his loving wife, the love of his life of 37 years, the former Patricia Uditis; daughter, Luanne Sacks and her husband, Steven, Paradise Valley, Ariz.; two granddaughters, Meredith, Ariz., and Lauren, Marin County, Calif.; great-granddaughter, Miracle, Marin County, Calif.; brother, Ricardo Marks Sr., Auburn; several nieces and nephews.
Robert graciously donated his body to science.
