My sympathies go out to Roni's friends and family. I took care of Roni during her last hospital stay at TRHMC. We would often talk during the night when she could not sleep. During these talks I came to find out that we had many mutual friends and that she had worked at Miller which is where my father also worked prior to his illness. She was a great person. I learned a lot about her in those few days at the hospital. I felt blessed in taking care of her.
God Bless, "kp"

Dear Phyllis and Family!

I am deeply sorry to read of Roni's passing. You two were great sisters and one hell of a team! I know you will miss her muchly.

Roni was a great help to me during my years with the PSU Schuylkill Penn State. If you gave her a task to do (like the golf tournament) she would always exceed my expectations.

Take care and you can take it to the bank that she is in heaven with your Mom and Dad and your brother.

Dear old friends,

I am so sorry to hear about Roni.
I always liked Roni, as all the Kevy family.

I have fond memories of Roni, as she was the one who taught me how to drive a stick shift on Greenwood Hill @ the Fire company. I was ~ 16. I remember asking her, "What happens if I screw your stick shift up?"
Roni replied, "Don't worry Scott, I had a heavy duty stick shift installed!" To this day I'll never forget who taught me how to drive a stick shift, and how pretty Roni was, like a doll......

As you know w/ my father being sick, I remember how we use to go over every XMAS and those little toy drummer lights on the front porch.

My mother swore that should I ever follow a close family, it should be just like the Kevy's.

Phylis and Myrna, again my sympathy to the family.

Dear Phyllis, Myrna and all of the family:

Roni, Phyllis and I were friends for many years beginning in high school. After my discharge from the Navy we renewed that friendship when we all worked at Argo together. I remember how well I was treated not only by Roni, but by the entire Kevy family. I have some of the fondest memories of them.

I shared some of my most personal experiences with Roni, because I knew I could trust her, and I valued her opinions. She was not only an extraordinary woman, she was an extraordinary human being. She faced life with the highest degree of dignity, and as much courage as any military person I had the privilege to serve with.

I left Pottsville over 32 years ago, but I never forgot the kindness or consideration I was shown by the Kevy family, and by my friend who I will miss so much, Roni.
