Vickie Pflueger Obituary
Born in St. Louis, Mo., March 15, 1972, she was a daughter of Betty Hornbeck Mester, Collinsville, Ill., and the late Albert Mester.
She was the wife of Jeffrey W. Pflueger. They were married Sept. 13, 1991, in Fayetteville, Tenn.
She graduated from Freeburg High School, Illinois, in 1990 and then served her country in the Army from 1990 to 1994.
She worked as a machine operator at IWCO Direct Mail, Hamburg, for the last 20 years.
She was a practicing Buddhist.
Surviving, in addition to her mother and husband, are a son, Alexander X. Pflueger, New Hope; mother-in-law, Karen M. Wanner, Hamburg.
A Celebration of Life service with military honors will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Orwigsburg. Friends are invited to gather from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home for a time of remembrance. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are being accepted by the funeral home to defray expenses.

Rest in Peace Vickie. I will always cherish the fun times we had at work, laughing about the temps wandering around the parking lot, and sharing some of our Army Stories. You made the day a lot brighter and a lot more relaxing and fun with your smile, your laugh, and your way of making a bad situation not seem very bad at all. you will be dearly missed by everyone and thought of often. I am very proud as an Army Veteran myself, to have known such a truly wonderful good hearted person.

I met Vickie 16 years ago. She was so full of energy, always smiling. Her giggle was contagious. Such a beautiful person, inside and out. Vickie, all the pain and suffering is gone. Fly high and rest easy. Jeff, I am so sorry for you and your sons loss. May God be with you and help you thru this.
