My husband, Leonard Conwell, had mentioned to Bruce that he was having concrete poured for a dog run. Before the truck got there, Bruce showed up, saying he didn´t want Leonard to mess it up

i have known Bruce for many years. He did some masonry work for me on one of my homes. I also was working on the Lodge for Danny and Craig in Othello and Bruce was there working on the outdoor fireplace with a pizza oven. Great guy, I spoke with him several months ago, it was a shock to see the notice in the paper.

Bruce was one of the best of us. He and Shannon were such good people to know. Our paths only crossed a couple of times since high school, but each time was a pleasure and too short. Hearing of both of their passing today was a shock and fills me with sadness for their family and loved ones. But from all I know, they both lived their best lives. They filled others with happiness and generosity. I count myself lucky to have been within their orbit, even for the brief moments we shared. God speed.

Bruce was such a sweet man. The world is a lesser place without him. His work will live on and always be a reminder of his great talent. I'm so saddened for this double tragic loss for the family. May they rest in peace together forever.
