Daniels
Shirley Coward Daniels passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022.
Mrs. Daniels was born the daughter of the late Pauline Mason Coward and John Wesley Coward. She graduated from J. C. Lynch High School and retired as the owner and operator of Daniels Modern Stylon. She attended Amanda Pentecostal Holiness Church.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her children, Jerry O. Daniels, II and Lynn Daniels Oncale; brother, John "Sonny" Coward; and sisters, Jackie Coward Boulware and Ann Coward Williams.
Mrs. Daniels is survived by husband, Jerry O. Daniels; daughter, Karan Daniels Suggs; son-in-law, Rodney Oncale; daughter-in-law, Janice H. Daniels; brother, Harold (Melba) Gene Coward; sisters, Doris Coward Javier and Paula (Dalton) Coward Horne; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brian) Spring and Ferrell Calven "Rusty" Prosser, II; and great-grandchildren, Emma Grace Spring, Isabella Spring, Macy Spring and John Wesley Spring.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Scranton United Methodist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends from 1:30 – 2:30 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
