Amelia Amanda Dieger, age 83, St. Joseph, MN, was called home to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of March 31, 2015.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Monday, April 6, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sauk Rapids, MN.
Amelia was born May 3, 1931 in Little Falls, MN to William and Amanda Amelia (Nelson) Dutcher. She married Robert Dieger on June 29, 1981. Amelia enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, game shows and Anitque Collectible shows. She also enjoyed tending to her three cats, bunny and bird. Amelia always put people first and tried to help when she could. She devoted her whole life to raising her children. She will be missed.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Robert Dieger of St. Joseph, MN; children, Pat (Dan) Aschnewitz of St. Joseph, MN; Mary Dahl of Eagle Bend, MN; Mike (Myra) Lukaswicz of Greenwald, MN; Marlene Lukaswicz of Brainerd, MN; Tony Robert Lukaswicz of St. Joseph, MN; John Lukaswicz of St. Joseph, MN; Joan West of Los Angeles, CA; step sons, Sean (Jayne) Dieger of Foley, MN; Dennis "Coleman" (Michelle) Dieger of West Virginia; Kevin (Janita) Dieger of Foley, MN; and many grandchldren, great grandchldren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Marilyn Riedeman and Cheryl Schwegel, siblings, Robert Dutcher, Donald Dutcher, Bernice Salzwedel and Edward Dutcher, adopted siblings, George Nelson, Mabel Johnson, Hilda Nelson and Hilma Axmark, and two granddaughters Amy Christle and Jade Dieger.

Millie was the most loving strong willed person I know she will be dearly missed. She loved her family and talked about them every second she got! My she rest in peace!!!!i hope she is resting with my dad as they use to talk lots.
