It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Darleen Joan Makuch who was born on April 15, 1943 in Regina and passed away peacefully on Sunday March 17, 2013 at the age of 69 years. She was predeceased by her husband Gene in 2003; her father William Scheiffert in 1988; mother Doris in 1990; and brother Gerald in 2002. Darleen leaves to cherish her memory her son Gary (Arlene) Makuch; daughter Leah (Rob) Mokelky; son Doug Makuch; 12 grandchildren Brennen, Conner (Ashton), Carley, Shawn (Jewels), Dallas (Sarah), Danielle, Kelsey, Bryan, Coby, Andrea (Tyrell), Micheal (Amber) and Mariah; great grandchildren Jaxson, Jayden, Vince, Gemma, Brynn, Savaya, Greden and Isaiah; sister Marie (Don) Liggett; sister-in-law Bev Scheiffert; brother-in-law Steve (Marie) Makuch; plus many nieces and nephews and extended family. Darleen worked for many years at the Call Center of Sears and prior to that she was a payroll accountant with Saskem. She was dedicated to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family and friends and will be missed by all that knew and loved her. A PRIVATE FAMILY CELEBRATION will be held at Regina Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Darleen's memory may be made to Palliative Care Inc., 4F - 4101 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, SK S4T 1A5.
