Jensen, Jane E. who will be remembered for her swift, adventurous wit, celebrated stories and compassionate approach to life, transitioned on October 21, 2016.

Jane was born in Minneapolis, MN on August 06, 1956 and was raised in Watertown, MN where her family built and operated Crow Greens Golf Course. 

Jane was an outstanding golfer and competed on the boys' golf team while attending Watertown High School--- a rarity for that era--- receiving the Most Valuable Player award her senior year.  She was recruited to play golf at Austin Peay University and later competed at the University of Minnesota.  She was also a teaching pro at Dellwood Country Club.

Jane possessed a unique skill set - athletic, artistic, and mechanically adept - these skills were on display throughout her varied employment career, including stints as a locksmith and most recently working in finance at the University of Minnesota.

Jane was also a champion of the underdog and helped develop the adaptive floor hockey program at Fridley high school - giving grade school and high school students with disabilities the chance to compete and experience the privilege of being part of a team.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, Jean Eloise Morrissette and Calvin Jensen and her brother, Cleve.

Jane is survived by her spouse, Nan, numerous close friends (including "Team Jane"), brothers Leif (Bridget), Tony (Laura), father-in-law Jenner Nelson, brother-in-law Joe (Stacy), Jaime (Connie) and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on November 12th at the Roselawn Chapel, 803 Larpenteur Ave in Roseville, MN from 08:00 until 12:00 noon. Visitation will be from 8:00 to 10:00, service at 10:00, and gathering afterward.
