Karla Scheel Obituary
Rice - Karla (Happke) Scheel, 37 year old resident of Rice, MN passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 as the result of an ATV accident near Genola, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial will held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 12, 2018 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN with Father David Maciej officiating and Father Ken Popp con-celebrating. Burial will take place in the Graham Methodist Cemetery near Rice, MN. A visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Thursday and from 9:30-11:00 A.M. on Friday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Buckman, MN. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials preferred to Karla's loving 7 children.
Karla is survived by her loving husband, Tony Scheel of Rice, MN; children, Taryn Czech, Mataya Czech, Khloe Scheel, Andrew Scheel, Isabella Scheel, Anthony Scheel, and Austyn Scheel all of Rice, MN; father, Robert Happke of Pierz, MN; siblings, Kevin Happke of Pierz, MN, Kelly (Daniel) Gangl of Pierz, MN, Karen (Scott) Schreiber of Kennesaw, GA, Kay (Robert) Mongeau of Toronto, Canada, Keith (Doreen) Happke of Pierz, MN, Kari (Bruce Bachmann) Happke of Brainerd, MN, Kent (Stacy) Happke of Pierz, MN, Kyle (Kori) Happke of Pierz, MN, and Kayla Happke of Foley, MN; mother-in-law, Pamela Scheel of Rice, MN; grandmother, Bertha Jedlicki of Pierz, MN; brother-in-law, Aaron (Melissa) Scheel of Becker, MN; sister-in-law, Amanda (Jason) Hespen of Coon Rapids, MN; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Karla was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Happke; grandfather, Al Jedlicki; grandparents, George and Florence Happke; and father-in-law, Wayne Scheel.
