Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN for Kenneth "Kenny" Fuchs, age 60, who died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital. Burial will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls.
A visitation for Kenny will be after 4:00 p.m. Friday at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Parish prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning at the funeral home.
Kenny was born in St. Cloud, MN to Valerian and Alvera "Girlie" (Wolf) Fuchs. He married Joy Davis, April 15, 1972 in Le Sueur, MN. Kenny served in the US Army National Guard from 1969-1975. He was honorably discharged February 5, 1975. Kenny worked at the Verso Paper Company for 38 years. Kenny was also a Master Electrician/Instrument Control Technician. He enjoyed fishing, camping, golf cart rides, traveling, cooking and helping others. Kenny was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his loving wife, Joy; child, Andrew (Peggy) and their children Tyler and Cody. He is also survived by brothers Tom (Irene), Bob (Peg), Ron (Barb), Chuck (Judy), Mark (Sue); sisters, Mary Jo (Lance) Weber, Cindy (Greg) Budig, Cheryl (Rich) Dockendorf and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike; sister-in-law, Ellie and father-in-law, Raymond.

Joy and family- Rene and I want you to know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Joy and Rene worked together many years ago so thet go way back. Kenny and I got to know each other well on a Canadian fishing trip. I still laugh at the camping stories he told when he and Mark ran there bikes in the brush. As always is the case, you wish there would be one more day and one more story..... Kenny will be missed by all! God Bless him and his family.

In the twenty years I worked with Kenny at the mill, I never saw him mad, impatient, or complaining. He was always dedicated and professional as well as extremely talented.
