Marcella E. Weber, 87

Eden Valley

April 14, 1925 - April 22, 2012

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2012 at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley for Marcella E. Weber, age 87, who passed away Sunday. Rev. Virgil Braun will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the services on Friday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Eden Valley. Assumption Christian Women will pray at 6:00 p.m., followed by Eden Valley American Legion Post 381 Auxiliary at 6:30 p.m., and parish prayers at 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Marcella was born April 14, 1925 in Eden Valley to Martin & Helena (Hueser) Arnold. She married Roman Weber on May 20, 1947 at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley. Marcella lived in the Eden Valley area most of her life. She was a homemaker and also worked at Animal Fair in Eden Valley. Marcella was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Assumption Christian Women, and Eden Valley American Legion Post 381 Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, bingo, quilting, bowling, baking pies, solving puzzles, and playing cards. Marcella also enjoyed refinishing furniture, interior decorating and spoiling her grandchildren. She always helped anyone who needed help.

Survivors include her daughters and sons, Joyce (Brian) Hahn of Ft. Collins, CO, Pat (Ed) Luikens of Gilman, John Weber of Richfield, Bruce (Nitz) Weber of Richmond, and Greg (Linda) Weber of Cold Spring; brother and sister, Philip Arnold of Eden Valley and Helen Steinke of Fridley; sister-in-law, Leona Arnold of Pine City; grandchildren, Amy, Janae, Erik, Trevor, Maranda, Tony, Sara, Kristi, Jordan, Marc, David, Amanda, Samantha and Austin; and seven great granddaughters.

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roman on Dec. 12, 2000; brothers and sisters, Isabelle Johnson, Henry Arnold, Teresa Binsfeld, Albert Arnold, Rumboldt Arnold, Marcus Arnold, Laura Loch, Florbert Arnold, Cecelia Colbert, Genevieve Lies, Elmo Arnold and Richard Arnold.

To all the Webers,
I'm sorry that I will not make it to the wake or funeral as I am out of town, and won't get back until Friday afternoon. Sally was a fun lady, we shared a lot of laughs. You kids were blessed with a great Mom. My sympathy to all of you.
