Michael Kurr Obituary
Boyceville - Michael R. Kurr Sr., age 74 of Boyceville, formerly of St. Cloud, MN passed away on April 30, 2021 at the Neighbors of Dunn County in Menomonie.
Michael was born on November 30, 1948 in St. Cloud, MN to Norman and Helen (Zylla) Kurr. He served in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman and worked in purchasing for the VA Hospital's in Wichita, KS, Flagstaff, AZ and ultimately retiring from the Minneapolis, MN VA Hospital. Michael loved sports and music of all kinds, and was a avid outdoorsman as well as a jazz musician.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Norman, his mother, Helen, and brother Peter. He is survived by his three children, Michael Jr., Bradley and Brooks, his grandchildren, Cadence, Calista, Cendall, Cenley, Madison, Mason and Gunnar, his brothers, Norman Jr., Dennis and Paul, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Private family burial services will take place at Ft. Snelling National Veteran's Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN.
