Mike was one of my best friends in grade school. We were always laughing together and pulling pranks. Had fun playing basketball in his driveway and will never forget Mike trying to get me to shoot his Dad's rifle just so he could see the gun kick and have a good laugh. I think we got in more trouble together than anyone else at Clearview--we spent lots of time together in the "black chairs" waiting to see the Principle.
Miss you Mike.

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. When we were young, he was always full of joy and kindness. Always.

I remember playing flag football in your backyard in 1984. I got the "wind knocked out" of me and was lying on the ground for awhile paralyzed in fear. I could hear people talking and feel others watching. Finally, I willed myself to breath and life seemed a surprising gift. Mike, you were the only one to ask me if I was okay and really mean it. I haven't talked to you much in over 25 years, but have thought about that moment many times. You were a gift to all those around you.

Mike was like a little brother to me! He and Peter would torment me in their own special way. The one memory that really stands out (and there are so many) was when the Mall of America opened and we had to eat at Hooters because every restaurant was jammed pack. I REALLY did not want to go but there were really no other options. Peter and Mike would make faces and start to make comments just to piss me off but my mom would just look at the two of them and tell them "not a word!"
Mike is loved by so many. He was a loyal friend, a positive person, and just fun to have around!
He will be missed by all!

I remember camping at the lake, playing cards, and the neighborhood parties. Riding ATVs all over the country, thank you for the memories, I will never forget. God bless you and keep you safe. Michael Goenner

My prayers are with you all. Well Mike it was great to see you again after all the years that past but it was like we never messed a beat when I saw you that day at Target. Then when we were tring to work together on your Uncles house. The smile and the humor that we had 20 years ago was still there. I will miss that smile and the humor. See you later Mike and Keeping smiling.
