Myrtle Anna Johnson, 93, of Sartell, formerly of Duluth passed away Monday June 8, 2015 at the Country Manor in Sartell. She was born June 9, 1921 to Carl and Edith (Morin) Christianson in Duluth.
Myrtle was born and raised in Duluth and she married Alfred Johnson September 10, 1945 in Duluth.
She enjoyed spending time quilting, knitting, and crocheting. She especially loved spending time with her friends and family.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred; son, Charles Johnson; and sister, Edna Johnson.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Roger (Barb Quast) Johnson of Clear Lake and Darlene Hastings of Saginaw.
Visitation: 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 North 56th Avenue West, Duluth. Interment will be in Oneota Cemetery. Please leave a memory of Myrtle or words of support for the family at www.bellbrothers funeralhome.com

Hello, Roger. This is Celia LaFave, I was a friend of Chuck's and your parents. I tried calling your mom today for a late birthday call. So sorry to hear of her passing. My sympathy to you and Barb. I know she was ready to go, and she is probably happy to be with your mom and brother.
