René Madsen Obituary

René Evette (Tuholsky) Madsen

Saint Cloud - Rene Madsen found those in need, responded with compassion, understanding, and creative expressions of uplifting affection, and helped us become better versions of ourselves.

A graduate of Holdingford H.S., College of St. Scholastica, and UW-Eau Claire, Rene proudly served students and staff in many locales over her 25-year professional career as a School Psychologist, most recently forming her own business in order to provide services to well-loved schools around the state.

On Saturday, September 21, Rene' passed away in Saint Cloud, MN. She is survived by her husband, Spencer Madsen of Clear Lake, MN; her parents, Ray & Evonne Tuholsky of Avon, MN; and more than one soul she rescued. A mid-October memorial is being planned.

Aloha, Rene

I hear a laugh and know Heaven has a Angel. It puts a smile on my face to remember that beautiful smile and laughter. Sending all my love to the family.

Has it really been FOUR years? It had been too long since we'd seen Spence & Rene before her passing and now four more years gone. Still sending respect, sympathies for the loss of Rene, and best wishes for all who knew her in moving on with loving memory & honor for her efforts. Not everyone knows the value of or the fortitude it takes to be a school psychologist - - it's truly a calling. May she rest in peace.

This breaks my heart. Rene was, as stated, the kindest soul... She brought happiness and light with everything she touched. I'm so thankful for the time we spent, and am truly blessed and a better person having known Rene. My deepest sympathies to my brother Spencer, and to Rene's parents. The world is slightly dimmer without Rene's smile. Aloha hui hou dear Rene... until we meet again.

Rene was truly a loving, caring soul. She was a dedicated counselor and cared deeply for her clients. Personally she kept in touch with her friends, past teachers, and helped care for her parents. My sympathy to Spencer and family. Rest in peace, Rene.
