Richard D. Bahner, 70

August 28, 1941 ~ February 16, 2012

Richard D. Bahner, age 70, St. Cloud, MN died Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the home of a family friend in rural Melrose, MN.

Funeral services will be Monday, February 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. A prayer service will be held at 6:45 PM Sunday at the funeral home.

Richard was born August 18, 1941 in Lake Henry, MN to Theodore "Ted" and Hazel (Driver) Bahner. He married Marion J. Goble on July 10, 1964 in St. Cloud, MN. Richard was employed as a mink farmer and then in engine rebuilding. He was also employed by Franklin Manufacturing, Midway Iron, Quality Landscaping and Ferber Concrete. Richard's hobby was recycling old equipment for usable parts.

Survivors include his wife, Marion Bahner of St. Cloud, MN; sons and daughters, Richard Bahner, Jr. of St. Cloud, MN; Brian (Kathy) Bahner of Pipestone, MN; Michael Bahner of Cokato, MN; Bradford (Suzanne) Bahner of Little Falls, MN; Christopher Bahner of Park Rapids, MN; Brenda Bahner of Mankato, MN; Melissa (Brandon) Nelson of St. Cloud MN; Kimberly Bahner of Park Rapids, MN; brothers and sisters, Robert (Darlene) Bahner of Paynesville, MN; Jim (Cindy) Bahner of Paynesville, MN; Onnah Deuhs of Cold Spring, MN; Margaret (Harold) Nohner of Hutchinson, MN; Judy (Ralph) Moser of Richmond, MN; Barb Johnson of Paynesville, MN; and eleven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Alan Bahner, grandson, Andrew Gohman-Bahner, and brother, Roger Bahner.

Pallbearers will be children and grandchildren.

Memorials are preferred.
