Robert Herubin Obituary
Milaca
Robert Raymond Herubin, 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, February 12, 2015. A memorial service will be held at 5 PM on Friday, February 20th at Peterson-Johnson Funeral Home in Milaca with Pastor Beverly Robinson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Robert was born in Moose Lake, Minnesota, he was the son of Joseph and Hazel Herubin (Robinson). He graduated from McGrath School. He served 6 years in the Minnesota National Guard, and was employed at Land O' Lakes and Mille Laces Soil service for many years. He was married for 21 years to Deb Rogers (Weisz) and had three children.
He loved the outdoors and animals; hunting, hobby farming and gardening. He enjoyed camping and traveling. He will be remembered for his good-hearted, fun loving nature, his hard work ethic and his love of a good tease.
He is survived by his life partner, Ruth Koska, they shared 23 wonderful years together; also by, brother, John (Joanne) of McGrath and sister, Ester Kubat of Mora. He will be dearly missed by his three daughters, Bobbi Jo Herubin-Noll (David) of St. Martin, Billi Jo Peterson (Rob) of Isanti, and Brenda Herubin (Andrew) of Cold Spring and grandchildren, Hayden, Sawyer, Hazel, Robert, Collin, Ryan, Sageand Autumn and Ruth's Son, Dan Lund (Wendy) of Saratoga, Wyoming.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Hazel (Robinson) Herubin, brother Charles, and sisters, Elsie Anderson and Katherine Herubin.
