Rodger J. Johnston passed away on September 19, 2017, with his loving family by his side.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Johnston, brother, Col. Ronald (Sheila) Johnston, children, Jay (Molly) Johnston and Elizabeth (Peter) Schnobrich and grandchildren Peyton, Cole, Liam, Eden, Ellianna, and Amelia.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer's Association (http://www.alz.org).

Rodger and I were high school classmates and friends, as well as college roommates. We had many adventures together and, being pretty introverted, he helped me come out of my "shell" during those years.

When Rodger hired me to help him build his Monumental Bank in St cloud, I had no idea that he would make me feel like I would become part of his family and as time went on he made me feel as close to him as almost a brother could feel.
I will miss you with all my heart Rodger and I Thank You for all the time we worked so closely together and fun we had while on the job working many long hours to complete the tasks you set out to do.
Eloise and I will miss you and Thank You for all you did for us and for letting us know you and Your Family.
