Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 6, 2012 at Shepherd of the Pines Lutheran Church, Rice for Stephanie M. Leason, age 21, who passed away Saturday at her home. Rev. Robert Trinklein will officiate and burial will be at Langola Cemetery in Rice. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the services Thursday at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids.
Stephanie was born Oct. 7, 1991 in St. Cloud to Bryan Leason & Sandra Stanger. She lived in the St. Cloud area her entire life and worked as a nursing assistant at St. Benedict's Senior Community. Stephanie enjoyed raising her daughter and being a student at Rasmussen in the LPN program.
Survivors include her daughter, Leah of Sartell; parents, Sandra Stanger of Ham Lake and Bryan Leason of Rice; grandparents, Jerry & Pat Leason of Rice, Arlys Stanger of Sauk Rapids, and Ron Stanger of New London; great grandmother, Betty Foss of Minneapolis; sister, Haley Leason of Rice; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Stephanie was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Dan & Dorothy Leason and James Foss; and uncle, Gerald Leason.

Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather, openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy...unknown. Aunt Patty and Uncle Jerry just know that every time the two of you are sitting on your back porch and you see the brightest star, you know it's your Stephie shining down on the two of you. Patty, You and her had a bond like no other, remember to keep her spirit alive and all your memories together, close to your heart! She will be missed by so many but know she will always be with you!
