Steve S. Samuelson, age 48 of Monticello died on June 15, 2012. Among the survivors are his wife, Deb; children Justin (Brianna), Josh (Krystle), and Heidi. Visitation will be Wednesday June 20, 2012 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 449 West Broadway, Monticello. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 AM at the church. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello. www.peterson-grimsmochapel.com

Dearest family of Samuel,
"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou are with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me." The loss of Samuel,our loyal friend, is the bitter cup we must all now drink. I will personally always remember his gentle friendly ways and kind smile. Unfortunately a morning appointment kept me from attending his funeral today; but I assure you, I was with you in my heart saying our good byes to Samuel for now. My John will now enjoy Samuel's gentle presence in heaven. May the promise in the scriptures be your hope today, your peace tomorrow and our comfort always.
