Theresa Wolff Obituary

Theresa Wolff

In loving memory of Theresa Wolff who passed away peacefully on December 12, 2020. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.

Theresa was a kind, gentle soul who devoted her entire life to the love and care of her family and friends. She was born on June 11, 1945 to Irma and Lloyd May and spent her childhood on the family farm by Nowthen, MN. This upbringing began her deep love of farming and animals. Theresa married Roger Wolff on September 13, 1967. For a short time, Theresa worked at Federal Ammunition in Anoka prior to raising her four sons, caring for her family and managing many areas of the farm.

Roger and Theresa lived in Anoka in their early years of marriage until they purchased their farm by Foley, MN. This was Theresa's dream to farm and care for their cows. She was a pioneering woman who worked hard and prided herself in her strength and success on the farm. At retirement, Roger and Theresa sold their farm and moved to Deer River, MN. Theresa loved the outdoors, being active, gardening, fishing, spending time with Roger, the love of her life, working out to Denise Austin DVD's, walking in nature, listening to Anne Murray music as well as spending time with her family - especially the grandchildren. Theresa was superior at fixing things like cars, appliances and the like. She was especially skilled at finding lost items and took pride in locating a bolt in a field or an arrow in the woods. She was a believer in the simpler things in life, always had a smile and always took special care to love unconditionally.

Theresa is survived by her husband Roger and four sons; Terry (Sandy), Spencer (Linda), Aaron (Cathy), and Bradley (Starrsha) as well as her grandchildren: Tyler, Austin, Elicia, Hannah, Holly, Elliot and Sophia. She is also survived by her siblings; Marilyn (Newt) Wattis, Denny (Tammy) May, Barb May, Charlene (Harlan) Smith, Nancy May, Darwin (Sue) May, Floyd (Jan) May, and Mary May, as well as her in-laws, Eugene (Virginia) Wolff, David (Sue) Wolff, JoAnne (Ron) Schendel, Steve (Mary) Wolff and James (Cheryl) Wolff.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents Llyod and Irma Wolff, and brothers, Leroy, Darryl, Richard, Ronny and Myron. She was also preceded by in-laws Ora and Clarence (Shorty) Wolff, Elaine and Joe Stoffel and Mary Ellen and Bob Klein.

Theresa's spirit now lives in the hearts and souls of all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace dear mother, wife, grandmother, sister, friend and beautiful woman. You will be missed dearly by all!
