Wayne Theodore Petty, 60, of Clearwater, passed away on February 12th, 2017 in his home.
Wayne enjoyed spending time with his Grandkids, attending their extracurricular activities, shooting pool and trips to the casino.
Celebration of Life will be 4pm to 7pm Thursday February 16th, 2017 at Clearwater American Legion. Words will be spoken at 6pm.
Private Burial services will be held at a later time with family.
Wayne was born to Donald and Betty (Strecker) Petty of Fair Haven, MN on December 4th, 1956. He went to school in Annandale, MN. He married Deborah (Spencer) Petty in 1977 and had 5 children. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for PCI and was a member of the Local 49 Union.
Wayne is preceded in death by Patrick Petty (Brother).
Wayne is survived by children, Tamorah Petty of Clear Lake, Richard (Shannon) Petty of Clearwater, Tonya (Brett) Ward of St Cloud, Shannon (Gus) Petty of St Cloud, Tarah Petty of Rochester, Parents Donald (Betty) Petty of St Augusta, Siblings Doug and Bonnie Petty of Blaine, Michelle and Doug Smith of Maple Lake, Colleen and Al Wolff of Maple Lake, Kelly Petty of St Augusta, 11 Grandchildren (Thomas, Sarah, Jarod, William, Adyson, Owen, Nolan, Lillian, Aliyah, Quinn, and Colin).

Tammy, Richard, Tonya, Shannon and Tarah,
I have all of you in my thoughts and prayers. My fondest memories of your dad and your family were made many years ago when our family stopped by to visit and play. I remember your dad getting a little swimming pool out for us to play in and he sprayed water at us while filling it up. We had a lot of fun that day.
Sorry I was not able to make it to Clearwater to celebrate uncle Wayne's life. Little Adeline had a high fever.

I'll miss him, he always seemed grumpy, but once you got him talking, Oh boy... I'm sure he had many who loved and related to him. Sad he is gone but at peace knowing he is no longer in any pain. You will be missed! I hope we all can think of a couple fun or wonderful memory's to keep his spirit alive.
