Allene Post
Allene Caudill Post, 92, passed away peacefully August 29, 2025, in Venice Florida.
Allene was born in McGuffey, Ohio on November 11, 1932 to Raymond and Lydia Caudill.
Allene lived in Willard, Ohio until she moved to the family farm on Bullhead Rd. While working at the Depot in Shelby, Ohio she met the love of her life John "Jack" Post.
Allene moved to Columbus for a brief while before moving to Minnesota where she enjoyed raising a family of three children. Allene enjoyed entertaining, being a part of her support group from Good Samaritan church and travelling with her family.
After Jack retired, they enjoyed wintering in Venice, Florida and summering in Edina, Minnesota.
They loved to travel, visiting over forty countries. Allene even rode an elephant in Southeast Asia.
Allene was preceded in death by her husband Jack, and brother Beecher Caudill.
She is survived by her sister Gloria Predmore of Willard, Ohio, daughter Carol and John Retherford of Cape Coral, Florida, son Steve and Dianna Post of Willard, Ohio and son Richard and Anne Post of Backus Minnesota, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
