Margaret Studer Obituary

Margaret "Maggie" Mae Studer, age 91, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 9, 2025 at the Crestwood Care Center in Shelby.

Born December 28, 1933 in Shelby to the late Fred and Agnes (Metzger) Studer, she had been a lifelong Shelby resident.

A member of the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Maggie enjoyed socializing by eating at fast food restaurants and playing cards with her friends.

She is survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Leonard, Wilber, Gerard, Arthur, Norbert and Charles, who were all Studer; her sisters: Mary Sutter, Imelda Albert, Rosella Lanni and an infant sister, Armella.

Friends may visit at the Barkdull Funeral home & Crematory in Shelby on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 starting at 9:30am to 10:30.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM at the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church; 29 West St, Shelby, OH 44875 with Father Chris Mileski officiating with interment held at St. Bernard's Cemetery in New Washington.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic School, 26 West Street, Shelby, Ohio 44875.

The family would like to thank Father Chris, Dr. Demers, Southern Care Hospice and Crestwood for all they have done for Margaret.
