Alexandra Coleman Obituary

Alexandra Coleman's family wrote the following obituary using words from her own writings, envisioning what she would have wanted to say.
I didn't go anywhere; I'm still around all of you.
I'll be present at my homes in Greenland, N.H., and Rochester, Mass., on a regular basis, and at my favorite work locations at the Beach Plum and Bruno's Pizza.
Don't forget to dance.
My Style: "Think a ghetto-ish Richard Simmons. I'm a white gurl from NH that grew up watching MTV; I don't know what I'm doing. My background in Ace of Base routines and a healthy Spice Girls obsession (along with Girl Power) keeps me from disgracing myself completely."
Even though I'll be in your lives daily, I'll miss the physical contact with everyone, especially my fam. Parents, Sheri and Jack McCaughey, and Jaime and Kathie Coleman; Sibs, John Coleman, Will Coleman, Melissa McCaughey and Amanda McCaughey; Grandparents, Nelda Englehart, Beverly Coleman, Joe and Mary McCaughey, and Stephen Chmiel; and too many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in the Coleman, Englehart, Chmiel and McCaughey families to list here.
I left you all so early. I'm predeceased by Granddads Jack Englehart and Jim Coleman; Grandmom Emily Chmiel; and my beloved cat, Pepsi.
SERVICES: There will be a celebration of my life at The Portsmouth Country Club, 80 Country Club Lane, Greenland, N.H., on Saturday April 30, 4-6 p.m.
My family requests that flowers please be omitted and suggests donations for a bench to be placed in a remembrance garden in my name to be located on Ocean Road in Greenland. Coleman Family...
Your daughter Alexandra changed my life. Simple as that. In a time in which her and I were surrounded by chaos, we found solace in each other. One of the few women in my life who could force a burst of laughter from the gut of my stomach, while still being the reason for the smile on my face. As I'm sure you already know she was the kind of girl to just take over a room and own it while she was there. The world lost one of the most energetic, kind, and adorable women and it's painful. Alexandra (Xani, as I knew her) was the most " One of a kind' women I had ever known and she will be sorely missed yet never replaced... Certainly not in my heart.
Xani this crushed me to find out you were gone with so much time and space between us.

Jaime and family;
I'm at a loss for words I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter Alexandra- a great loss. I will always remember her purple hair. She always made me feel welcome when I came into Bruno's.

Xani where do I even begin? I have been thinking for the past week about all of our memories as kids from Dondero to high school all of our afternoon bus rides and how wonderful each and every one of those memories was. Cheering in beechstone to nights at trivia you were the life of the party. Life works in mysterious ways and I am so blessed that fate brought you and I back together this past year. I haven't stopped thinking about your family but I know you are with them each and every day. We all love you so much. Thank you for the memories I'll forever cherish ❤

Xani was an amazing, fun-loving, beautiful soul. My heart aches for all those who loved her ♡ she knew how to light up a room and fill it with smiles ! May she live on and continue to do so even with her passing. the earth lost a beautiful soul, but heaven gained an amazing angel .

My heart is aching, and will never be whole till we meet again! As time goes on we tend to forgot and move on with life, I promise you my friend I will never forgot you for one day!
