Daniel S. Stevens
Northwood - Daniel S. Stevens, 96, (6/1/1924-2/13/2021) of Northwood, NH, passed away peacefully in his sleep at Epsom Nursing Center, Epsom, NH, after a period of decline.
Survived by his wife, Susan (Silva) Stevens, and step-children, Nichole and Tyler Marshall of Epping, NH and Matthew and Ciera McCarron, of Deerfield, NH. Children from a previous marriage, Mark Stevens of Barrington, NH, Anita Stiles of Lebanon, ME, and Anthony Stevens of Grantham, NH.
A WWII Veteran, Dan, served in the USAAF as a flight engineer on B-17's and B-29's.
Much missed, Dan was a longtime Antique Dealer at Parker French Antique Center in Northwood, NH. Over his long career, Dan was an IRS Agent based in Portsmouth, NH, and operated several businesses including Stevens Furniture in Portsmouth, NH, and Harvest House Country Store in Rye, NH. An avid tennis player, his many friends and acquaintances remember the cool, old guy with the ponytail.
