Doris was an absolute sweetheart to me during my 4 years as a student at Phillips Exeter. I worked in the dining hall, led the 60+ strong student workforce there and had the privilege of working with Doris. Doris was always warm and caring to me, made sure I got my fill, and took care of generations of students that came through Elm Street for a meal. Thanks to her family for sharing Doris with the thousands of students who lives she touched.

I remember Doris from my days as a student at Phillips Exeter, where she was a lovely, kind person with a warm greeting for everyone. She made every boarding student feel at home and appreciated; I hope we helped her to feel appreciated as well.

I was so sorry to hear about Auntie's passing. To all the family, I always enjoyed her visits to the office, she made us cookies and decorations. She was always so thoughtful of everyone. Now she and Ken can gossip about all of you together!

I grew up knowing Doris at the First Baptist Church. She was a stalwart, working suppers, helping with the Sunday School program, etc. Always friendly and pleasant and a pleasure to be around her. My sympathies to her family.

I will always remember Doris from my days working at P.E.A.! I would eat in the dinning hall where Doris worked. When going through the line, I'd complain that I was starving and didn't have time to eat lunch. She totally knew I was full of it, but with her infectious smile would make a snarky comment to me while shoveling a little extra grub onto my plate. She was a beautiful lady with a heart of gold....rest in peace dear Doris and know you will never be forgotten on planet earth...hugs

Doris lived across from us and was always so warm and kind to our family. She was missed the minute she moved away an into a nursing home. I saw her last year, I think it was, and she seemed content and upbeat. At that time, I enjoying learning a bit more about her from the pics she had up in her living space and some of the stories she shared. She was a lovely woman. So sorry to hear of her passing. Much love her entire family.

Doris loved to help the church Thrift Shop for many years. She enjoyed her time working with the clothes with fellow church member Bessie Bickford. Doris also enjoyed traveling to the Baptist Church Hymn Sings all over NH. We used to go as a big group to the different Hymn Sings on Sunday Nights. Doris loved meeting family and friends at Steves Diner in Exeter, NH and she received special treatment ((humorous) from all the regular waitresses! Doris, you were loved by your family and church family as well, we will all miss you.
