Jared Clauson Obituary
Jared was born September 24, 1994. He was a son of Stephen A. Clauson and Kim M. Clauson.
He attended York schools where he played hockey and was proud to have won the Maine State Hockey Championship in 2011. He continued his education at the University of Montana where he fulfilled his dream of fly fishing the Blackfoot River with brother and best friend, Ryan. He was employed at Maine Shellfish Company where he worked with his father and brother. Jared shared a strong love of the outdoors with his father and brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tying his own flies and time spent at the family camp in Milton, N.H. He will forever be remembered in his mother's heart as her funny boy that could always make her smile. Jared enjoyed spending time with his group of childhood friends in which he shared a special bond.
Jared will be missed by his father, Stephen, his mother, Kim, his older brother, Ryan, and his younger brother, Nicholas; as well as many grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 26 in the Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Road, York. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, April 27 in St. Christopher Church, 4 Barrell Lane, York, Maine. Visit www.lucaseatonfuneralhome.com.
