Norma and family,I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. He was such a kind hearted man who worked hard and loved his family.I remember years ago when I would be at your home quite often ... your doors were always open and I was always was welcomed by the both of you. You were like another set of parents ...and I've never forgotten just how much you both mean to me .We shared many talks and laughs at the dinner table along with a great meal. Lots of whist card games.. didn't matter who won.. we just had fun.Our trip to your Fort Myers home and to key west was also a memorable time. But one of my latest memories was my last visit at your home a few years ago.. I was there for a visit and John was in his workshop tinkering on his tractor. .. he stopped what he was doing and asked me if I'd like to sit down with him . As we sat there together talking and laughing... it was like old times. I'll treasure that special time forever .We shared many talks and laughs at your dinner table along with a great meal. You both

Norma and family,
John was such a kind hearted man who loved to work hard and loved his family.
I have so many wonderful memories of years ago when I would be at your home quite often...your door was always open and I was always welcome. We shared many laughs and talks around your dinner table with a great meal. Our whist card games, no one cared who one just good old fun.
You both were like another set of parents and I've never forgotten how much you mean to me.
My last visit with John was a few years ago, as I stopped by for a visit and he was in his workshop tinkering on one of his tractors. He stopped what he was doing and asked me to sit down with him. As we sat there together talking, laughing and catching up on things.... it felt like old times. I'll always treasure special that time with him.
My sincere condolences

Norma, & Family,
We would like to offer our condolences for the passing of John.
The one thing I always admired about Johnny, he never uttered anything bad about anyone; he could bring a smile to your face on what would be the gloomiest day.
I use to love visiting him, he would show me around and describe his newest arrival, tractor, old car didn't matter, he was excited ! I would get caught up in the same excitement as he was feeling .
John by far was the #1 man on any piece of excavation equipment, he was like a true artist,.the earth was his palette and his equipment his brushes. John ,need only to look at the layout and once he started, he could blend the earth to conformity as though made natural. Norma, I am certain with all your memories combined with your families, they will help sustain you. I am certain John is in Heaven excavating now , making things look just right.
