Lucy Richardson Obituary
She was born Aug. 23, 1919, and was raised in Exeter, N.H., where her father, Philip E. Hulburd, taught mathematics at Phillips Exeter Academy for 40 years.
She was a 1937 graduate of Abbot Academy, a 1941 graduate of Vassar College and a 1945 graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Design.
She worked professionally in London, England, following World War II. Later, she settled in Massachusetts, where she continued to live for 60 years.
She was a longtime member of the New Hampshire Society of the Colonial Dames of America.
