Mike Rust
Kittery, ME - Mike Rust lost his 3-year battle with glioblastoma on March 16, 2021. A truck driver for 43 years, owning his own companies, M&M Trucking and Rust Auto Shippers since 1985, covering 48 states and three Canadian provinces. Loved his Schipperkes, who traveled with him. Survived by his wife of 34 years, Marynan (Buckner) Rust, father, Walter J. Rust Jr. (Cap), brother and sister-in-law Walter and Kathleen Rust of Quincy MA, daughter Rebecca, husband Eric and grandchildren Tyler and Hunter Brown of Orlando, FL and stepson John and wife Angie, granddaughter Katelyn and grandson John Phillip Lydston of York ME. Predeceased by his mother, Audrey Rust.
In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in support of brain cancer research to: MGH Development Office, ATT: Heidi Bergmeyer, Brain Cancer Research Fund of Dr. Jorg Dietrich, 125 Nashua Street, Suite 540, Boston MA 02114.
A celebration of his life will be held later this year. Care of the Rust Family has been entrusted to the J S Pelkey and Son Funeral Home.
