Rita Sullivan Obituary
Rita was wife of the late Vincent James Sullivan, formerly of Needham, Mass.; daughter of the late Robert Rasmusson and Grace M. Doucet Rasmusson, of Lincoln, Mass.; and mother of Patricia Ann Rowean, Barbara Ann Gavel, Donald Dennis Sullivan and Paul Francis Sullivan. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was born May 24, 1917. Rita graduated from Waltham (Mass.) High School in 1935. She was past president of Newton Upper Falls Women's Club and Needham Village Club Auxiliary and was a member of York Senior Center. Rita was an Avon representative for over 60 years. She was an avid card player and knitter and up until only a few days before her passing, was still knitting newborn hats for York Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the York Beach Fire Department, P.O. Box 70, York Beach, ME 03910.

Dear Pat and Don, Barbara and all the family. So many years of memories of your mom just can't list. She was one in a million, so friendly and outgoing. She was the energizer bunny and always happy to see everyone. We will miss her and I know she is happy in her new home. Our best to all. Much love Bob and Blanche
