Stephen Jasinski Obituary
Steve was an exceptional baseball and basketball player throughout high school at Chicopee Comprehensive, which led to his being drafted as a pitcher by the New York Mets. Instead, he chose to attend Colby College, where he met his wife Barb and continued to excel as an athlete. Steve cherished the lifelong friendships he made as a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. After Colby he received his MBA from Dartmouth College.
Steve had a successful consulting business following years of working in finance at the corporate level. He enjoyed spending time with his family on his sailboat, hiking the White Mountains, playing golf, and watching his beloved Red Sox.
Steve was predeceased by his parents and mother-in-law Charlotte (Wing) Plummer.
Steve is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara (Plummer) Jasinski; three children, Sarah, David, Emily and Emily's fiancé Matthew Beaudoin; his brothers, Paul Jasinski and wife Alexandra of Leverett, Mass., and Richard Jasinski and wife Carol of Wolfeboro; his father-in-law, John Plummer, of Tucson, Ariz.; his brother-in-law Henry Plummer and wife Patty of Urbana, Ill.; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter Rd., Newmarket, N.H., on Friday, January 12, from 5-7 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.

Barb,
I, and all of Steve's fraternity brothers at Colby, send our deepest sympathy and condolences over your family's (and our) tragic loss. We are so happy that Steve and you were able to join us at several of our our annual Lambda Chi spring weekends after his condition had been diagnosed. Steve was clearly delighted to be with old friends, as were we. We will miss him a great deal.
