Alice Tonkin Obituary
Alice Tonkin was born in Clarkston, WA on September 19th, 1956 to Lyle and Betty Riggers. A loving wife and mother, she passed away peacefully in her home on March 1st, 2017. She enjoyed many activities in her younger days including scuba diving and horseback riding. For the last 30 years she loved to sew, craft, and play online games. Her greatest pride and joy were her two sons, Shea and Tyler, who were the center of her life. Alice is survived by her loving husband Wyatt, two sons Shea (Staci) and Tyler (Aneta), father Lyle (Beverly), & brother Brian (Bobbi).
A celebration of her life will be held at the Shoreline Community Center (18560 1st Ave NE, Shoreline, WA 98155) on Thursday 3/9/17 at 3:00pm.
Memorial donations may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project or Breast Cancer.

My Dearest Alice,
I can't believe two years have gone by, Jesus said blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Thoughts and memories are what I have to help pass the days without you. They comfort me , but I do miss you so. I love you Al and miss you so very much. I find comfort in knowing that you are with the Lord and enjoying His paradise but sometimes I feel so wet with grief I can't breath right and I need His help so very much. Rest easy my love I love you so very much.

I saw Alice about a week ago at the airport and I joked that the whole load of guys, luggage and golf clubs needed a ride home. She never blinked and replied with a very cheery - "Why not? We'll make room!" Fortunately we had other arrangements but she seemed really willing to try, and I wouldn't bet against her! To Wyatt and the family - I am truly sorry for your loss.

I worked with Alice for many yrs at FM in lake city and at shoreline.she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her!prayers to all of her family.
