Hi(Joe)Archie,
I came by to see you a couple of months ago but could not find you. Sorry that I missed you. I am sorry that I did not know you were not doing well. I think I was one of the few that kept calling you "Joe" when we would occasionally see each other. I can still remember you calling out for who was from Auburn when we were moving prior to going to Nam. I remember my sister asking to see your wound when we got back. Your face was the first familiar face I saw when I got back to Okinawa. Three purple hearts and alive to talk about it. I still cannot believe how lucky you were. Take care my friend. I will see you Saturday. Your friend and fellow marine. Tom Okura
