Dear Jan,
Sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I came across it just looking up people from childhood. I don't remember your Dad much, a little of your Mom I can see in my mind's eye but we were very young. 12 or so.
I do remember going to your house, it was pretty cool and the box turtles that were in the backyard. Our sleepovers, catching tadpoles in tires, playing kick the can. And still two little scars on my index finger from your gerbil that you told me wouldn't bite....it did. Both of us were trying to shake it off my finger. I hope you and your brother are doing well, and that your parents are at peace in heaven and I'm sure watching over you. God bless, Nancy O.
