Carolyn Brandon Obituary

Carolyn Marie Gamble Brandon

Carolyn was born March 5, 1944, to Richard and Barbara Gamble. She passed away at home on December 17, 2016, surrounded by family. She is survived by her parents, her sisters Kathy, Judy and Nancy, brother Rick, sons Dane and Chad, grandson Grady and husband Michael. A graduate of Lincoln H.S. in Seattle, she worked for Planned Parent-hood and volunteered at Cancer Lifeline, The Dorothy O'Brian Center. She loved all things natural: wilderness, gardening, arts and crafts, music, dancing and gentle, compassionate people.

A private family wake will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please submit donations to the Dorothy O'Brian Center.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

We are so sorry to learn that Carolyn is no longer with us. We had been out of touch for too long and wish now that we had seen her this year. What a generous and sweet, sweet person was Carolyn. I will always remember the fondue dinner at the Brandon house one winter evening with the magnificent spread of cheeses and dipping expertise we learned with them. We are thinking of you, Mike, and the rest of your family. Ellen and Peter Seibert

Dear Gamble family,

I am so sorry to hear of Carolyn's death. She was just about the sweetest soul I ever met and I imagine that she continued that sweetest throughout her life.

Thank you Kathy for calling me. My old landline phone doesn't let me know the phone numbers that called me or I would have called you back. (My work issued cell number which does take texts is 360-531-2640)

I called Cliff but haven't reached him yet. His cell phone is 206-617-8128 in case you want to try calling him.

God bless you all and all the best in the best of memories of your whole family,

Isolde
