Charles and Virginia Fulkerson were our next
door neighbors in Bellevue for many years...our children grew up together and we shared many experiences during those years. I remember Charles helping me out on many occasions, one of which was the time my garage door would not open and I was running late for a very important appointment. He quietly came over and showed me how to manually release the door, so I wouldn't have to drive THROUGH it.
Though he was a quiet man who took long walks
through our neighborhood, he had the driest
sense of humor and was quite knowledgeable on many subjects. He loved his little red sports car and his cat. After we moved from Bellevue in 2007, we picked up Charles and Virginia and brought them over to visit our
new condo in West Seattle. It was special
spending time with both of them again. He and Virginia will always be remembered
fondly by me and my family.

Charles & Virginia were our next-door neighbors, always kind, friendly, & welcoming. We will always remember them.

Charles - helped me and countless others on a path of experience, strength and hope. He did not often speak but when he did everyone learned.
Specifically he had my back twice when I thought I was completely exposed and needed help.
