I often think of Christina, and the joy she spred among her friend in the classes I taught. Hon var ett solsken som slocknade för tidigt. Mina varmaste tankar går till er, hennes föräldrar, i er stora sorg.

I am heart-broken to hear about the unexpected passing of Christina Westerdahl. I was her professor of Swedish in the 1990s at the Department of Scandinavian Studies. Christina was such bright and cheerful student, one that you will always remember. She belonged to wonderful group of students, Dodi, Joe, Glacier... I think they all went to the same exchange program at Linköping University. We have kept in touch of the years, and I was so happy to see her pop up at the my retirement party at the UW in 2017.
Rest in peace, dear Christina! We will always remember you with a smile!

I did not know her. I read about Christina in the Sunday Times. She sounds like she was a wonderful person. Sorry for your loss. So incredibly sad.
