David Blanchett Obituary

David Frederic BLANCHETT 11/03/1960 - 10/06/2005 Beloved son, brother, and friend, passed peacefully and unexpectedly in the early morning. Born in Seattle to Frederic W. and Robin R. Blanchett, David attended Epiphany School and was a graduate of The Overlake School in Redmond and the University of Washington in Seattle. David was a valued employee and well- liked colleague at the Iron Mountain Corporation, where he worked as Special Projects Coordinator. He was also an active member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Seattle. David spent many happy hours gardening and landscaping, which he truly loved, was an enthusiastic and talented cook, and an avid reader. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Blanchett, and Grandmother, Virginia Ryan. David is survived by his mother, Robin Blanchett, and brothers, Christopher and John Blanchett, of Seattle, his Uncle, Ray Ryan of Aberdeen, and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. David's steadfast good nature, even temper, generous spirit, and kind heart were a true blessing to all those lucky enough to have him in their life. He will be deeply missed. Memorial Service Saturday, October 15th, 11:00 a.m. at Epiphany Parish, 38th Ave & E. Denny Way, Seattle, 98122. I am so very sorry to hear about David's passing. Although I have not seen him in years (we went to Overlake together) I was actually just thinking about him the other day.
