Dear Britta, Annabelle,
Dave was always welcome at our house and he and Brad were like twins - their Birthdays are only one day apart. I remember days when they watched Rock & Roll High School for 8 hours. I sewed Skateboard shorts for my 2 boys and Dave and transported the kids from this neighborhood to the skateboard park in Boulder. We always enjoyed Dave - he was one of the kids at our house. We loved him much and will miss him. Love - Mom Reeves

Dear Britta & Annabelle,
I knew your dad back when we were young kids riding skateboards in Loveland,Co. with Brad Reeves and Kurt Olesek, he was a happy smiling kid who - (after some 30 years later)I still can see the smile and happiness in his face. He loved and lived life the short time I knew him. I am sure he lived the rest the same way. You now have a very special gardian angel watching over you. I feel blessed to have known your dad.

Dear Britta, Annabelle, Pat and family,
I am so sorry for the loss of David, he will be missed yet he will be remembered in so many ways. Whether it was hugging Tom Ellis in the playpen when they were oh so small or looking up with that forever twinkle in his eyes followed by that infamous smile. The thing I will remember most about him was his kindness. Something that he always seemed to have the corner on over everyone else. One exception was his lizard issue! I remember sharing his room with my Mom when we were visitng Pat and David and having to stare at his lizard all night!! Always hold him tight as he is still there with you both. If ever I can be of help, please know I am here. Love, Aunt Jo Waldron

Dear Mohn Family,
Nancy and I are so sorry for your loss. Even though I haven't been in touch with David, he was the closest thing I had to a little brother growing up. I felt like a part of the Mohn family during those years.
Please hang onto those wonderful memories that I know you have and we are here if there is anything you need.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dave, Brad Reeves, and I spent one summer in highschool waterskiing almost every other night. We all got pretty good that year. I believe Dave was the first one of us to jump the wake on a slalom ski. Brad and I followed suit. I still do it today. Dave, Brad and I went on a three day bump skiing tour in highschool together also. Hit Mary jane the first day, Steamboat the second, and Vail the third. After a half day at Vail we were beat but had one hell of a time getting there. Dave had a uniqueness to him that I'm sure will be missed by all. A special energy if you ask me.

Dear Britta and Annabelle,
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers at this time as I've just learned today of David's passing. May your precious memories sustain you always. Remember when we were working and studying together, Britta? Well, David always got "good marks" from me for supporting you then and as you embarked on parenthood after grad school. I always admired your relationship and your strength, Britta. Annabelle was blessed from the beginning to have such great parents. May God bless you both and may your friends embrace you with their love.

Dear Britta and Annabelle,
I'm so sorry about your loss but also I'm happy that you had Dave in your lives. It has been many years since I saw you, but Dave and I ran into each other at work about a year ago and we realized we knew each other. That was a nice surprise and it was good to catch up a bit on your lives.
One of the people in your guest book said the room lit up when you and Dave walked in and I remember that about you both too. I remember you both affectionately. You and Annabelle are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love,

Dear Britta and Annabelle,
We love you all so much and we are so sorry. If you ever need anything we will be there!
One thing that I will remember about my uncle Dave is the time that he had a long talk with me before I left for Hawaii, when I really felt my life had reached rock bottom. He explained life to me and how much I was loved. I listened to my uncle David. With his love and words I took his advise and slowly got through it.
I always looked up to Dave, he is everything that I admire and wanted to be. He touched my life in so many ways as I was growing up. David I know it is a little late... but I know you can hear me, thank you and I will FOREVER love you.
Your Nephew,
Philip

Britta and Annabelle,
My heart aches for you... my tears just don't seem to stop... when I think of Dave, your husband and dad, I think of the time we sat in your backyard, looking over the locks as the sun was beginning to get low in the sky... his tye-dyed t-shirt, both he and I with a microbrew in hand as Britta was getting something in the kitchen and Annabelle and Kayla were in the gardens below, looking for bugs and running amuck. Dave and I just sat and watched our daughters discover nature as we discussed the Grateful Dead, Dave Matthews Band, golf, creating with our hands, how kids change your life...
I can't go to REI without thinking of him and you...
My hope is that you find strength in your sorrow and peace in your tears. Please know that you are in our hearts and we love you dearly. We remember our years in Seattle, with you as friends, with a smile.

Dear Britta and Annabelle. I never had an opportunity to meet either of you, but I want to take this opportunity to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. Dave came on board at PSE shortly after I started working in the Project Management department. The first thing I noticed about Dave was his smile and eyes that sparkled. He was a very laid back and kind person. He took pride in his job and was kind to everyone he met. I hope that the wonderful memories you had with Dave will help give you strength during this extremely difficult time. Dave will not be forgotten.

Dear Britta and Annabelle,
You don't know me, but I went to high school with Dave and worked with him for a year as a lift operator in Keystone Colorado. I can't express how shocked and saddened I am. I haven't spoken with Dave for many many years, but he was often in my thoughts and memories. He was a fantastically talented and fun-loving guy. That year at Keystone was one of the best of my life, and much of it was due to Dave. Please accept my most heart-felt condolences on this extremely sad loss.

Dearest Britta and Annabelle,
I was deeply saddened to hear the news today of Dave's passing. Before hearing the news, earlier this morning I came across old concert ticket stubs and remembered the shows we attended together, with you and Mike. After hearing the news, I was thinking about the day Annabelle was born, how Dave introduced me to golf, how we had similar, eclectic tastes in music, ringing in New Year with you both and other friends. I can’t imagine what you are going through, but I am thinking of you, Annabelle and your families.
Love, Eric
