Geraldine M. Snyder

JEFFERSON _ Geraldine M. Snyder, 51, passed away suddenly Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta.
She was born Aug. 18, 1956, in Margaretville, the daughter of Marion and Freda (Mintler) Robinson.
She married Homer Snyder on Aug. 26, 1973, in Grand Gorge.
Geraldine was an avid outdoor person, who loved to care for all types of plants, trees and animals both wild and domestic. She was simply an all-around great person.
She was predeceased by her son, Keith T. Snyder.
She will be remembered forever with love by her husband of 34 years, Homer, of Jefferson; her two sons and their spouses, Lance and Elaine Snyder of Kissimmee, Fla., and Heath and Emily Snyder of Abilene, Texas; two grandchildren, Joshua and Charlai Snyder of Abilene, Texas; her parents, Freda Robinson of Grand Gorge, Marion Robinson; and stepmother, Barbara Robinson of Conesville; three brothers, Dale (Jackie) Robinson of Ghent, Calvin Robinson of Prattsville, Gerald (Stephanie) Robinson of Jefferson; and her sister, Edna (John) Vanat, of Levittown, Pa. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A memorial service for Geraldine will be held in the spring.
Donations may be made in Geraldine's memory to the National Kidney Foundation, Albany, NY.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Hall Funeral Home, Stamford, under the direction of William A. Tari.
