David Winton Thompson III

David W. THOMPSON III David Winton Thompson III, 57, died on May 2, 2009 after a short hospitalization in the ICU of Stevens Hospital in Edmonds. David was born on October 12, 1951 in St. Louis, MO and later moved to the Seattle area. David had a lifelong passion for music, wrote his own songs which he played on guitar, was a member of the band Aurora, and had a recording studio in his Lake Forest Park home. He is survived by his father David W. Thompson II, his brother John Thompson, his son David W. Thompson IV, and his daughters Brigette [Thompson] Quichocho and Monique Thompson. In addition to his mother Helen Marie, he was preceded in death by his sister Debra. David's funeral service will be held Friday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Holyrood Cemetery in Shoreline, followed by a celebration of his life at Nile Country Club.
