Dolores Perry Obituary

Dolores (Moran) PERRY Dolores, born Oct. 17th 1934 in Seattle, was called home to Our Lord on Friday, Aug. 24, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was home surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was preceded in death by her daughter Cindy, her mother Marie Moran, her father James Moran and her sister Joan Christensen. She was the devoted wife of George, cherished mother of Gigi McCormick, Deanna Sader, Steve Perry and Sue LaFord, adored grandmother of Alex and Austin LaFord, and Anthony and Christopher Sader, beloved sister of Richard Moran and loving friend to many. Dolores was a lifelong resident of Renton. She graduated from Holy Rosary in Seattle in 1952. She retired from Boeing in 1993. She had many interests and was very active. She loved to garden and travel to faraway lands. She showed her dogs in the US and Canada and even participated in Powder Puff Stock Car racing. But the hobby that brought her the greatest joy was training and riding horses with her best friend, Ginger Dickson. Dolores lived life to its fullest, treating every day as a precious gift and every outing as a new adventure. She will be sorely missed, but she will always be loved by all who knew her. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 29th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Parish, Renton. Interment is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood Memorial Park in Renton.
