Dear Susie, I posted this to your Facebook page, but don't know if you've seen it or not, but I feel compelled to write. I was stationed with Don in Neu Ulm and Kaiserslautern, W. Germany in 1967-68. He was the training officer and I was the Battalionn Draftsman in the 1st Signal Battalion and we were in the same office area. He was one of the nicest men I knew in the service and I was so sad to hear of his passing. I was just online on August 10th, 2016 and doing searches for old Army buddies and acquaintances and came across a eulogy written by someone who knew him on the Signal Corps Officer Candidate School Association's web site. I want to tell you that I'm so sorry for your loss; Don passed away way too early and I know he left a hole in the lives of everyone whom he touched. You, he and your family are in my prayers. Here is the link, in case you haven't seen it. Scroll to the bottom post on the right side of the webpage. http://www.armysignalocs.com/index_feb_16.html
