I am very sorry for your loss. I went to Blanchet with Doug, and we were good friends during our senior year. He was famous for his purple Plymouth Barracuda! We had a good visit at our 30-year reunion last summer. I remember Doug as a positive guy with a great sense of humor. Please accept my condolences.

The JOY of the LORD was on Doug's face each & every time we'd see him! His love for Jesus and for his wife & family was such blessing! His marriage to you, Fran blessed me (cindy) as was a testimony of how truly beautiful a "Christian" marriage looked like! Your love for one another was so powerful and an awesome testimony. I also want to share that I appreciated Doug opening up and embracing Marco. Marco was new at Westgate and Doug welcomed him with open arms and heart and it just meant so much to us. Marco wanted me to share with you that he was so happy to get to know Doug and appreciated that because they were prayer partners, he was privledged to get to know him on such an intimate level = prayer.
I pray that you are comforted by the LORD and please know that you have many friends praying for you and your family during this difficult time.
It's awesome and beautiful and wonderful to know that Doug is with JESUS in heaven! Wow!!! Hallelujah!
...but it's those here that will miss him. Oh Fran, I'm so sorry that you are grieving and if there's anything I can do, please let me know.
It won't be long until we'll all be together again with JESUS! Doug just got a little head start..
Loving you deeply in JESUS,
Cindy & Marco Sarmiento
