Dow Lucurell
I'm writing this note in memory of my friend Dow Lucurell. I first met Dow going to Briarcliff Elementy school In Magnolia in the early 60's. We used to "race" home together to watch Speed Racer at my house after school. Besides one person, we were the two fastest people in our class and we could get to my house very quick. The one person faster than us was a girl. Back then it was disturbing but today I find it enlightening. I could tell many stories about Dow through a lifetime of being friends but I only want to tell one more story. After developing a life altering, life long illness my buddy, Dow Lucurell came to my defense. Dow may have been short in stature but had a heart as big as they get. To wrap things up, my wife and I just want to say "rest in peace my friend".
