Elliott Kephart Obituary

Elliott Richard KEPHART Went to be with his Lord suddenly July 22, 2005. Elliott was born in Hawthorne, California July 29, 1942, graduated high school, then served in the Army. He moved to Auburn, Washington in 1967 to work for Boeing. Elliott married Barbara Ellen Anderson, the love of his life, November 17, 1967. They had three children, Christine Ellen, Brent Elliott, and Karissa Michelle. Karissa is a senior in high school and often helped her dad with sand carvings. His daughter, Christine married David Alan Cichosz and Elliott was present at the births of his four granddaughters, Catherine, Emily, Megan, and Anna Cichosz. Elliott is survived by his brothers Jerry and Clayton and sisters Margaret and Terri Sue. Elliott was very active in Christ Church on South Dash Point Rd in Federal Way helping with puppet ministry, clowning, men's ministry, singing in the choir, AWANA's, greeter, and designed and constructed many sets for productions at the church. Elliott was a master sandcarver competing in many countries including Canada and won first place at the Worlds competition with his team called 'Hard Sand Cafe'. He carved in Texas, Florida, Washington, Oregon, South Carolina and most recently Belgium. Elliott was a master swimmer with his team located in Federal Way and competed in senior meets. Elliott was self employed as a sign painter, muralist, window artist and graphics designer in the Western Washington area for over thirty years. His son, Brent, assisted him for over twenty years. Elliott was a most loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten. He loved clouds and when we look towards Heaven we will know he is with his Heavenly Father. There will be a Memorial Service for all friends and family at Christ Church, 941 South Dash Point Road, Federal Way, WA 98003 at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 27th.
