Eric Pedersen Obituary
1967 ~ 2016
Eric Charles Pedersen passed away unexpectedly on 1/27/2016 at his home in Hansville, WA at age 48. Eric graduated from Shorewood H.S. in 1985. He went on to North Seattle Community College and graduated in Culinary Arts. He spent 10 years as Chief Steward on various factory trawlers in Alaska. Eric spent a few years with Sage Manufacturing before moving on to the Boeing Company where he has been for the last 15 years. Eric enjoyed music, fishing, hunting, Yankees baseball, spending time with his family and most of all, hanging with his son Nicholas. Eric will always be remembered for his big heart and his family will miss him greatly. He is survived by his son Nicholas, his parents Darryl & Jane, his brothers Kurt (Jane), Mark (Brenda), his nieces and nephews, Cody, Kristjan, Alex, Sydney & Emily, along with his Uncle Phil and many extended relatives and friends.
Memorial Service at First Lutheran Church of Richmond Beach, 11:00 am, Saturday, February 20th.

Dearest Pedersen Family,
The Christmas Season is a gift of life. I know it is also a time to remember the ones we love that are not here. We can not wrap our arms around them and tell them that we love them, but we can be sure that they knew they were loved when they were in our physical presents. Please know that I love you and that I treasure the many Christmas ornaments that we have shared as a Pace, Pedersen, White Family exchange. So sorry to hear of Eric's passing..Although he was much younger when I knew him in Sand Point as a little boy, I do remember him as a happy little mischievous boy. I wondered where you settled after Sand Point. Hugs and love to you and your family!! Marie (Olson) Matthews

Eric was my man. I dearly loved this guy. He was a fine employee and really set an example of a positive attitude at work even being sick. He was one proud father of Nicholas and family. He would always talk about you and being a father myself I love every minute listening to him about you. Being an old Navy guy, you all are in heavy seas experiencing pain and loss. I know of a person who will comfort you all and that is our almighty God. (Hebrews 4:16)I am praying for you all to have comfort during this time and want to let you know that our Lord Jesus is with him now and Eric will be waiting for us all. I want to share a time that I took my crew from Frederickson to Everett to see the plant and I was leaving to go back and out of the hanger was a guy in an electric cart and that was Eric wanting to say good by. I thank God that I had an opportunity to go and put my arms around him and tell him that I loved him. Precious family of Eric's, may GOD RICHLY BLESS YOU ALL and hold you up in a time of sorrow and pain. Please remember Jesus loves you all. John 3:16

I have such sweet memories of Eric as a small child.... he was such a happy little guy....and fun to be around....

Eric was a wonderful person with a huge heart. I loved having conversation with him. We always ended our conversations with laughter. Rest in peace my friend.
