Erik Frolich Obituary

Erik Frolich

Erik Frolich was born in Seattle, WA on June 25, 1949 and died on April 18, 2017 from complications of CMML. He graduated from Bellevue High School in 1968, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, then worked at the University of Washington for 35 years as a carpenter. He loved sailing, his dogs Abby and Mocha, and spending time at the beautiful house that he built on Whidbey Island. Erik was a master craftsman, spending his time after retirement restoring vintage trailers. He a had countless other wonderful adventures together. Erik was a loyal loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife Cindy, sons Chris (Bridget), Colin (Kai), grandsons Badger and Archer, brother Fritz, and sister Celeste.

Erik & I entered the army one day in advanced of being drafted. We entered on the buddy plan that guaranteed we’d stay together during basic training.
